ELETRONIC INJECTION

It is the fuel supply system in the most modern cars. Many believe that the injection system is limited to the injectors, but it is only one of the elements.


Maintenance

Proper maintenance even starts with replacing the air filter element or using good fuel, which makes the system work well and with good consumption performance. Check the system every 10,000km or even before if using the vehicle in more severe conditions – attention – the traffic regime of a big city is a very critical condition, as the engine works a long time at idle and the temperature is very high.


Solutions

Maintaining a fuel injector is much more than simply cleaning it in an ultrasonic tank. Through some simple and quick tests, it is possible to detect defects, determine the degree of contamination and wear of the injector, observe the operation of the part as a whole and measure its performance. Once cleaned and having their filters and sealing rings replaced, the injectors are ready to undergo the same initial tests.


Strategies

It is essential that the nozzles are pulsed during the bath. The removal of internal debris will only be carried out if the injector is opened, so that the cleaning solution can penetrate and also allow cavitation inside the injector. The bath time required will vary depending on the type of equipment and cleaning solution used, the degree of debris in the injector, the type of injector, bath temperature, coil voltage measurement, connector integrity, etc.
