Through some simple and quick tests, it is possible to detect defects, determine the degree of contamination and wear of the injector, observe the operation of the part as a whole and measure its performance. Once cleaned and having their filters and sealing rings replaced, the injectors are ready to undergo the same initial tests.

It is essential that the nozzles are pulsed during the bath. The removal of internal debris will only be carried out if the injector is opened, so that the cleaning solution can penetrate and also allow cavitation inside the injector. The bath time required will vary depending on the type of equipment and cleaning solution used, the degree of debris in the injector, the type of injector, bath temperature, coil voltage measurement, connector integrity, etc.
